GUIDE RAIL OF SUNSHINE ROOF DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail of a sunshine roof device improved so that the slidable distance of a slide panel can be further increased without complicating a structure. SOLUTION: In this guide rail 14 of a sunshine roof device having a guide groove for sliding a front sliding member (front slider 7) and a rear sliding member (pin 11) mounted on the front edge lower side and rear edge lower side of a slide panel 3 moving between a closed position where an opening 2 provided in the fixed roof 1 of a vehicle is closed and an open position where the rear edge side thereof is pulled into the lower side of the fixed roof in the state of being lifted down, the guide groove comprises an upper stage guide groove 13 for sliding the rear sliding member and a lower stage guide groove for sliding the front sliding member. A clearance 18 is provided between these both upper and lower grooves. Thus, the front and rear sliding members can be smoothly slid without interfering with each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
