PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding treatment apparatus capable of performing the grinding treatment of garbage rapidly, certainly and efficiently. SOLUTION: Base end parts 18a of a garbage grinding hammers 18 are pivotally mounted on the rotary plate 17 attached to a drive shaft 39a so as to freely rotatable with respect to the rotary plate 17 and the leading end parts 18b of the hammers 18 are formed so as to be made thicker than the base end parts 18a to be increased in weight. A feed surface 22 is provided to each of the leading end parts 18a so as to be inclined at a predetermined angle from the side surface of each of the leading end parts 18a to the end surface thereof.
