PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve service and gather customers by charging a storage battery of a portable telephone during playing in pachinko hall. SOLUTION: The charting apparatus is provided with a power supply 3 provided in a casing 8 of a pachinko game machine or a ball dispenser to generate a direct current voltage for charging, and a cable 31 drawn out from the power supply 3 to be connected to a connector 32 inserted in a cable connecting part of the portable telephone. It is composed so as to prevent omission to remove the portable telephone when one leaves by providing a charging state detecting sensor such as a microswitch 4 detecting that the cable 31 has been drawn, a human body sensor 5 detecting a human body in front of the casing 8, and a sound generator 6 activated when the microswitch 4 is operating and the human body sensor does not detect a human body.
