PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat cord holding structure made compact while maintaining sufficient strength. SOLUTION: A toilet seat cord gripping member 2 is provided on the outer periphery of a toilet seat cord 1, and the outer periphery of the toilet seat cord 1 and the toilet seat cord gripping member 2 are covered with a toilet seat cord holding member 3 into one unit. The toilet seat cord gripping member 2 has a C-shape in basic cross section with one or more recesses or holes formed ranging from an outer periphery side to a center axis.
