PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding table in which safety is improved when a table top is located at a vertical position or during turning operation, or the like. SOLUTION: In the folding table 1, the table top 2 is turned between a using position where the table top 2 stays approximately horizontal to left and right separated leg supports 4a and 4b and a standby position where the table top 2 is kept approximately vertical thereto. Both positions are maintained by engagement means which are disengaged by a manipulation member 36 provided on the table top 2. Supports 5a and 5b having recesses with opened upper, front and rear sides are respectively provided on the upper ends of both left and right leg poles 4a and 4b, and pivots for pivotally attaching left and right frames 8a and 8b provided on both left and right lower surface sides of the table top 2 and the engagement means are arranged within the recesses.
