PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorter capable of discharging a material to be sorted in the directions left and right with respect to the advance direction of the material to be sorted. SOLUTION: The sorter 1 is constituted so that a placing tray 20 is fixed to a circulating feed device 10 through a pair of link mechanisms 24 and an attaching frame 23, and the placing tray 20 is thrust up in the vicinity of the single side of the bottom surface of the placing tray 20 by thrust-up devices arranged in a row under the placing tray 20 to incline the placing tray 20 left or right with respect to the advance direction of the material to be sorted. The link mechanisms 24 have a U-shape and comprise both end members 23a and the link shaft 24b on the side of the placing tray 20. The placing tray 20 is suspended by a pair of link mechanisms 24 arranged to the attaching frame 23 and the link shaft 24b on the side of the placing tray 20 is loosely fitted in the piercing slot 25 piercing the placing tray 20 in forward and rearward directions. Both end members 24a of a pair of the link mechanisms 24 are locked with the upper part of the attaching frame 23 in a freely rotatable manner and the link shafts 24b are connected to both end members 24a in a freely rotatable manner.
