The invention relates to a process for making a register provided with security elements, characterized in that the identification data of the owner and of the paper batch are written on many places on the surface of paper sheets by printing with an ink readable only by ultra-violet light, known per se, while an embossing representing the serial number of the paper sheet within the batch is also applied by stamping on one corner of each paper sheet, the sheets being afterwards arranged following the ascending order of the embossed numbers and the sheet assembly obtained thereby is then pasted on one side, stitched, laced, labeled in a manner known per se, in order to make the register which is sealed with a sealing stamp on usual self-adhesive and self-destructive paper.
