PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating organic sludge by which organic sludge produced by biologically treating organic waste such as human waste, sewage, kitchen waste can be converted into dehydrated sludge having low salt concentrations while the amount of water used for the treatment is decreased, the dehydrated sludge is reused as resources such as for agricultural soil and planting soil. SOLUTION: When the organic sludge produced by biological treatment of organic waste is dehydrated, a solid material of the sludge flocculated by adding a flocculant is subjected to solid liquid separation, the obtained concentrated sludge is diluted by adding water and dispersed, and by further adding a flocculant, a solid material of the sludge is flocculated and is dehydrated in a dehydrating machine.
