PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the aerodynamic characteristics of a vehicle without using any special member such as a deflector or a spoiler. SOLUTION: In the vehicle, a storable roof 6 covering the upper part of a cabin 2 comprises a plurality of roof structure parts (7, 8, 9) divided in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and the plurality of roof structural parts (7, 8, 9) are stored in a body 1 at the rear part to open the upper part of the cabin 2. At least a part of the plurality of roof structural parts (7, 8, 9) is stored in the body at the rear part so as to face the outside of the vehicle in a generally horizontal state when the cabin 1 is opened upward, and supported on the body 1 so that the inclination angle thereof in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle can be altered. The inclination angle is driven by a roof drive mechanism 13 installed on the body 1 so that the aerodynamic characteristics of the vehicle can be changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
