PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding implement of which the binding rods for binding an object of filing are maintained to be almost perpendicular to a cover on the occasion of filing the object such as papers. SOLUTION: The binding implement 10 has a fixing member 20 fixed to the cover 14 and a binding member 300 for binding the object A of filing. The binding member 300 is fixed rotatably to the fixing member 20 by the medium of a hinge part 30, and the fixing member 20 has the hinge part 30 formed in a rising part 22a formed in the end part on one side of a base 20 fixed to the cover 14. The binding member 300 is provided in continuity to the hinge part 30 at a projecting part 32a of a movable member 32 constituting the binding member 300. The fixing member 20, the binding member 300 and the hinge part 30 are so formed that the binding rods 38 for binding the object A of filing are maintained to be almost perpendicular to the surface 14 when the binding member 300 is developed around the hinge part 30.
