PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid drop ejector capable of quick refill after ejection of a liquid drop and having a high number of ejection times per unit time, i.e., good frequency characteristics, and an ink jet recording head utilizing it. SOLUTION: The liquid drop ejector comprises nozzles arranged in one direction, a means for ejecting liquid drops from the nozzles formed in correspondence with individual nozzles, individual channels formed in correspondence with individual ejecting means, channels common to a plurality of individual channels formed at the opposite ends of the individual channels while holding the ejecting means between, and a means for forming an ejection liquid flow in the individual channels from one common channel toward the other common channel.
