PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole machining tool, achieving high linearity without an increase of machining manhour. SOLUTION: The hole machining tool 21 has a rod tool body 23 adapted to rotate around an axial line O, on the outer periphery of which a chipping disposal groove 25 cut out of a front end face 24 along the axial line O and a cutting edge mounted at the front end of the tool body 23 on the inner wall face of the chipping disposal groove 25 facing to the rotating direction of the tool are provided. The tool body 23 has an outer periphery tapered gradually reducing in diameter as tending backward to the direction of the axial line O of the tool body 23 and it also has the front end face 24 at the peripheral edge of which a lead flank portion 30 formed by chamfering a ridge portion 29 intersecting the outer periphery of the tool body 23 is provided.
