PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational cooking pot in which a warmth retaining effect is presented and costs are reduced. SOLUTION: A recess 9 is provided in the middle of an outer lid 8 in which an upper face for covering a container 1 is formed flat, a knob 10 is provided in the recess 9 not to be protruded on the upper face of the outer lid 8, The upper face of the outer lid is placed to be abutted to the plane portion or bottom face of the container 1, and the outer lid is prepared as a pot stand.
