<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of preventing pollution of an LED head without the need of the maintenance work even in the case of long time use while achieving energy saving and cost reduction of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This unit comprises an LED head (4) for forming an image by directing a light signal to the surface of a photosensitive member (1) charged in a predetermined polarity by a charger (2), and an electrode plate (6) with a grid voltage of a corona charger (2) in the same polarity as the charging polarity applied by a power source used commonly with the charger (2), disposed between the LED head (4) and the photosensitive member (1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
