<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can effectively utilize a surrounding space and can meet a temporary access. <P>SOLUTION: A laser printer 1 has an interface port 10 with a USB port 9 and a parallel port 8 for inputting printing data, and a power source switch 7 set at a front face 2a of a case 2. Therefore, even when a notebook personal computer or the like is required to be temporarily connected to the laser printer 1, quick and simple accessing from the front face 2a side is enabled. A cover 6 which is opened when a toner cartridge in the laser printer 1 is replaced is made rotatable to the front face 2a side of the case 2, and a paper tray 5 alike is made detachable to the front face 2a side. Not only at the temporary access time, but when the laser printer 1 is arranged in a narrow space to be open only in a direction of the front face 2a of the case 2, the laser printer 1 can be used without any trouble. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
