<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which, under low temperature and low humidity conditions, does not cause a sticking phenomenon attributable to sticking of a heat melt of a thermal layer and a protective layer onto a head and is free from a deterioration in recording density, recording sensitivity, and storage stability of recorded images. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording material provided with a thermal color developing layer, capable of developing color upon exposure to heat, on the support, and provided with a protective layer, containing a binder resin, a crosslinking agent, a filler, and a release agent, on the thermal color developing layer, and is characterized in that the release agent is a hydrocarbon group- modified silicone oil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
