PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair-type massaging machine having a function of providing a stretch treatment unavailable before along muscle fibers by combining rolling and massaging. SOLUTION: The chair-type massaging machine has a massaging unit moving up and down along a backrest, and provides a treatment, following a preprogrammed automatic treatment pattern. A stretch treatment causing the muscles to contract and relax is given by moving massaging members in the directions along the muscle fibers, projecting them forward by combining massaging with rolling and stretching the muscle fibers.
