PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter facilitating speed change operation of a transverse feeding in the transplanter installing a longitudinal feeding arm on the transverse feeding axis while suppressing increase of parts number and enlargement of a transverse feeding speed change mechanism. SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter installs the longitudinal feeding arm 22 on the transversal feeding axis 15 laterally provided from the transversal feeding speed changing device 14, and set a transversal feeding mechanism 5 reciprocatory transfer a seedling stand 6 in crosswise direction in a constant stroke by rotationally driving the transversal feeding axis 15 and the longitudinal feeding arm 22 by the power from a power distribution mechanism 4 through the transversal feeding speed change device 14, and set a longitudinal feeding mechanism 7 longitudinally feed the seedlings loaded on the seedling stand 6 in a predetermined pitch on every arrival of the seedling stand to the left and right stroke end, and locates the speed change operating tool 35 which operates the sift member 33 installed on the transversal feeding axis 15, on the opposite side of the providing side of the transversal feeding axis 15 of the transversal feeding speed changing device 14 on the center of axis 15p of the transversal feeding axis 15.
