PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing apparatus which can accurately position a printing plate on a printing machine regardless of unevenness of the printing plate. SOLUTION: Above a recording drum 1, a carrying unit 9 is rockably arranged. The carrying unit 9 has a first carrying path 91 for carrying in a printing plate, and a carrying path 92 for carrying out the printing plate. On the distal end side of the carrying unit 9, this punching device 10 is arranged on the printing plate 100. The printing plate 100 is carried to the punching device 10 through the first carrying path 91 of the carrying unit 9 before carrying onto the recording drum 1, and on the distal end of the printing plate 100, a positioning hole for the recording drum and a positioning hole for the printing machine are formed. The positioning hole for the recording drum of the printing plate 100 is fitted on a positioning pin 15 which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the recording drum 1.
