PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost tool pot separated chain allowing both-curve transfer and the separation of a tool pot in an outward direction perpendicular to the transferring direction of the chain and having less inclination and superior stability, and a tool magazine allowing the transfer of the chain along curves without using a driven wheel for a curve track portion of a magazine body having a plurality of curves and having reduced cost by simplifying curve track parts. SOLUTION: A U-shaped opening portion opening to the outward direction perpendicular to the transferring direction of the chain is provided inside a link plate of the chain. An inclined portion is formed between the outside and the inside of the link plate in a range from a connection shaft of the chain to the outward direction of the U-shaped opening portion. The connection shaft is protruded to the outer face of the link plate, and a rotating roller is provided on the protruded portion of the connection shaft. Guide members having guide planes for guiding the transfer of the chain are arranged on the plurality of curve track portions of the magazine body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
