PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molding of a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin which is high in heat resistance, good in transparency, excellent in physical properties such as rigidity and impact resistance, and improved in gas-barrier properties and other characteristics by a relatively simple means, and to provide a thermoforming material applicable to the method. SOLUTION: A thermoforming polyethylene terephthalate resin material of a stretched film or sheet is obtained by stretching a polyethylene terephthalate resin film or sheet at least in one direction, at a temperature between the glass transition point and melting point of the resin in a draw ratio of 1.5-5. In the method for producing the thermoformed molding of the polyethylene terephthalate resin, the thermoforming material is thermoformed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
