PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch between a complete two-wheel drive state and a complete four-wheel drive state with a small simplified structure. SOLUTION: In this power switching device 10 for switching the state of a power transmission from a drive member 15 to two right and left driven members 21 and 22, the end faces of cages 41 and 42 axially moved by an electromagnetic force in the state of the switching means 50 being set to ON mode are brought into a frictional contact with the driven members 21 and 22 to rotate together with each other. By this, the annular connection surface 30 of the drive member 15 and the annular connection surfaces 31 and 32 of both driven members 21 and 22 are wedge-connected to each other through rolling elements 43 and 44.
