<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen capable of receiving two different kinds of ball-point pen refills with varying an overall length and outside diameter individually inside the barrel and in such a way that the refills are depressed forward. <P>SOLUTION: A coil spring is constituted of a first coil part at the tip and a second coil part of a smaller diameter than the first coil part. In addition, a bottom part formed of a bent coil wire which is the rear end of the coil spring is provided at a rear end opening part of the second coil part. Alternatively, a reduced diameter part whose outside diameter of the coil is reduced, is formed at the rear end part of the second coil part. Further, the rear end part of the ball-point pen refill is brought into contact with the tip face of the first coil part and received inside the barrel by compressing the first coil part. Or as another alternative, a ball-point pen refill with a longer-size than said ball- point pen refill and an ink receiving tube whose outside diameter is smaller than the inside diameter of the second coil part is brought into contact with the bottom part of the reduced diameter part of the second coil part and received inside the barrel by expanding the second coil part to the rear end side of the barrel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
