PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an image by an inkjet recording method capable of stably representing a high resolution image, an ink, and an image forming apparatus.

SOLUTION: There is disclosed the method of forming an image whereby the ink curable by an ultraviolet light is ejected on a recording material by a recording head having at least one nozzle that can selectively control ejection of ink drops. A platen section below the recording material (at the opposite side of a recording head unit and a light source with the recording material therebetween) on which the ejected ink is deposited and cured, absorbs ultraviolet light.
