<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiological image pickup device (a portal imaging device) improving image quality of a high energy X-ray image used in radiotherapy. <P>SOLUTION: The radiological image pickup device has a radiological image pickup means 20, and a scattering plate 2 arranged in a subject 3 side of the radiological image pickup means 20 and having a function of fixing influence of scattered radiation. It further has a region of interest analyzing means 7 for analyzing image attributes in a region 10 of interest and determining a region 11 of interest optimum for an image quality improving process, a process region setting means 8 for setting the optimum region 11 of interest as a process region, and a data processing means 9 for improving the image quality of a radiological image in response to the set process region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
