PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper in which wing portions of a panel can be stuck to the trunk portion of a wearing person when it is worn and the excretion absorbing function in the wing portions can be fully utilized. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1A comprises a liquid-permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and a liquid-absorbing panel 4 lying between these sheets 2 and 3. Bending guiding portions 15 extending in the vertical direction are formed between a contacting portion 11 around the front trunk and the wing portions 14 of the panel 4, and a stretchable elastic member 17 extending in the vertical direction is arranged apart by a predetermined size to the outside in the horizontal direction from the bending guiding portion 15 and is attached in a contractile way to a side flap 9.
