<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely house an injection needle in a cover. <P>SOLUTION: A cover for covering at least the distal end area of the needle of an injector consists of: a base 1 fixed to the syringe of the injector or fitted in and held by the syringe in an attachable and detachable manner; and a cover body 2 which is connected to this base 1 via a hinge in a swingable manner and which covers and hides at least the distal end area of the needle by pulling up it. Between the cover body 2 and the base 1, an engaging means for positioning and fixing the cover body 2 to the base 1 by a tilting posture of tilting the cover body 2 to the barrel part of the syringe and an engaging means for positioning and fixing the cover body 2 to the base 1 by a standing posture made by pulling up of the cover body 2 are provided respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
