PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fed coolant to reliably reach a grinding point on the outer peripheral surface of a grinding wheel, to expand a winding range of the coolant on the outer peripheral surface of the grinding wheel, and to reduce a necessary coolant amount. SOLUTION: A grinding fluid feeding method and device are formed such that, in a grinding device to grind a work W by the grinding wheel 1 rotated by feeding coolant, a grinding fluid nozzle 3 is provided to have a plurality of nozzles 31 and 32 to feed coolant at different angles to a plurality of points between a shut off position 12, where an air layer is dragged along an outer peripheral surface 10 of the grinding wheel 1 is excluded and shut out by a fluid jet injected through a fluid nozzle 2 by blowing out the air layer by fluid jet injected through a fluid nozzle, and a cutting point 11. A plurality of coolant flows fed through the grinding fluid nozzle 3 are wound around the outer peripheral surface to at least the grinding region of the grinding wheel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
