PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier capable of maintaining the bacteriostatic property of water channels after a water purification cartridge. SOLUTION: This water purifier is provided with a water supply channel 2 for supplying water to a water purifier body 4, a water discharging channel 5 for guiding purified water from the water purifier body 4 to a water discharge opening 6, and the water purification cartridge 3 formed by filling a filter material such as activated carbon and disposed in the water purifier body 4 to purify water. Inside the water purifier body 4, the purified water channel 8 communicating the outlet 3b of the cartridge 3 with the water discharging channel 5 is provided with a bypass channel 10 branched from the purified water channel 8, and the bypass channel 10 is provided with a bacteriostatic agent adding tube 7 for adding a bacteriostatic agent 7a.
