PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate formation of cooling air input hole 36 through which air flows in ducts 35 and 40 and secure reliability by preventing entrance of rain water into the ducts 35 and 40, in motor cooling structure that a fan housing 30 to contain a scirocco fan 21 is formed in a blower unit case 19, a spiral air outflow passage R is formed in the fan housing 30 is formed, and the ducts 35 and 40 to feed air in an air outflow passage R to a fan drive motor 31 are disposed. SOLUTION: An expansion part 29 expanded approximately in a U-shape internally of the air outflow passage R is situated on the air conditioning unit 2 side at the side wall of the fan housing 30 and at a portion positioned closer to the front of a car body. A vertical duct 35 is joined with the surface on the air conditioning unit 2 side of the expansion part 29, and a cooling air input hole 36 running in the direction of a car width through the expansion part 29 is formed. The vertical duct 35 is connected to a bottom duct 40 joined with the bottom of a motor mounting member 38 and the downstream end of the bottom duct 40 is communicated with the internal part of the casing of the motor 31.
