Method for power supply to a three-phase induction motor in which a neutral point (N) is generated together with two alternating sinusoidal voltages (V1, V2), phase shifted by 60 degrees, that can be adjusted in terms of amplitude and frequency. The neutral point is connected to the motor coil and the voltages (V1, V2) supply the two other motor coils. The invention also relates to a corresponding supply device with a frequency converter that has a rectifier for conversion of an alternating supply current into a direct current for supply a circuit formed by two pairs of semiconductors.
