<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaseous reactor capable of efficiently advancing a prescribed gaseous reaction such as the processing of exhaust gas containing nitrogen monoxide. <P>SOLUTION: The gaseous reactor 10 causes a prescribed chemical reaction while making a gas continuously flow and is provided with an inner cylinder 11 in a cylindrical shape, a guide means 13 for making the gas helically flow along the outer periphery of the inner cylinder and a casing 12 surrounding the inner cylinder and the guide means. The gas is introduced from an introduction port 15 provided near one end of the casing, made to helically flow along the inner cylinder, and discharged from a discharge port 16 provided near the other end of the casing.
