PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically moving type drying hanger devised to lower the drying hanger into a prescribed position when hanging the washing on the drying hanger suspended beforehand from a clothes pole, and to move the drying hanger up to the original height after hanging of the washing is finished. SOLUTION: This vertically moving type drying hanger is composed of a sliding member vertically moving along a guide part integrated with hanging hooks; a roller provided at the guide part; a vertically moving cord suspended from the roller to vertically move a frame body with a plurality of pinches hanging; and a rotating ring provided at the outer periphery of the sliding member so that the frame body with a plurality of pinches hanging is rotatable.
