PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmission plate of a plane light emission device which allows plane light emission of high brightness to be obtd. with less brightness loss and is thin in thickness. SOLUTION: In the light transmission plate 8 of the plane light emission device in which a linear light source 9 is arranged on the flank, an easy-to-emit light layer 2 and a light emission restrained layer 3 are transferred on the light emission surface side of the light transmission plate 8 consisting of a transparent resin. Surfaces of these transferred layers are flush with a surface of a resin of the light transmission plate 8 at an area not covered by the transferred layers. The easy-to-emit light layer 2 is formed in a pattern which allows the area ratio thereof to become larger at an area away from the linear light source 9 than in the vicinity of the linear light source 9. The light emission restrained layer 3 is formed in a band-shape in the vicinity of the flank, in which at least linear light source 9 is arranged, within the peripheral part on the light emission surface side of the light transmission plate 8 and in a pattern that allows the area ratio thereof to become small on the central side of the light transmission plate 8. |
