PURPOSE: Provided is a powdery natural dye for yellow color dyeing, which can make a natural dyeing simple only by using water, can improve the fastness of gardenia, is easy to carry, and can be commercialized as it is. CONSTITUTION: The powdery natural dye for yellow color dyeing is prepared by the method comprising the steps of: grinding loess of good quality in a grinder; grinding gardenia in a grinder; screening each of the ground loess and gardenia through a sieve to obtain the loess powder and gardenia powder having the size of 100-400 mesh; mixing the loess powder with gardenia powder in the ratio of 1-10:1-10; and packaging the product in a container.
