PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the set procedure of the output of a laser exposure means irradiating the surface of a photoreceptor to which uniform potential is given by an electrification charger with a laser beam in an electrostatic photographic digital image forming device such as a digital copying machine. SOLUTION: This adjustment device is constituted so that the output of the laser exposure means irradiating the surface of the photoreceptor to which the uniform potential is given by the electrification charger with the laser beam is adjusted so that the light potential of a part exposed by the laser becomes the prescribed set potential. In this case, two laser outputs for obtaining the prescribed fixed light potential are measured on the condition of the electrification charger obtaining two prescribed dark potential. Then, the laser output for obtaining the prescribed light potential on the condition of the prescribed dark potential is obtained by arithmetic operation by combining two dark potential and two laser outputs. |
