<p>PURPOSE: To improve workability and efficiency in untwisting work by arranging a rotary mechanism to freely rotate a sandwiching part to sandwich twist pair wires, a handle part to support the sandwiching part and a sandwiching part to the handle part. CONSTITUTION: When twist pair wires 16 are untwisted, first of all, the wires 16 to be untwisted are inserted into a slit 21 formed in a sandwiching part 11 of an untwisting jig 10 from a slit 21 side part. Next, a handle part 12 is operated, and a jig 10 is moved so as to be pulled out in the tip direction of the wires 16. Therefore, the wires 16 in a twisted condition get loose according to the movement of the part 11, and the wires 16 are untwisted. In this case, bearings 13 and 14 are arranged in the jig 10, and a rotary mechanism is constituted to freely rotate the part 11 to a part 12. As a result, when the part 11 is installed on the wires 16, work to perpendicularly position the part 11 to the wires 16 becomes unnecessary, and workability can be improved. The occurrence of damage in the wires 16 is also prevented, and force necessary for the work can be minimized.</p> |
