An absorbent product such as a sanitary towel, incontinence pad or panty liner has a three-dimensional elongated shape, and includes cross direction fold line indicators (5, 6) extending in the cross-direction, for folding the product into sections. At least one hook and loop fastener tape is provided to keep the product folded.
