The core (1) used to introduce the label into the half-section has a cross-section which can be expanded when a transfer force is being applied to the label in order to detach it from the core and adhere it to the inside of the half-section. A method for placing a label inside a concave half-section of a mould tool for producing a bucket, pot or similar product comprises adhering the label to a core which is then introduced into the half-section, following which a transfer force is applied to the label so that it becomes detached from the core and adheres to a region of the concave inner side of the half-section including at least part of a half-section side wall. As the core is being introduced into the half-section it adopts a first state in which it has a smaller cross-section compared with a second state when the transfer force is applied to the label. The core returns to its first state whilst it is being removed from the half-section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Injection-moulding process for making a bucket, pot or similar product using a mould tool with convex and concave half-sections, in which the above method is used to place an adhesive label inside the concave half-section; (2) Core used in the above method; and (3) Combination of the core and a mould tool. |
