发明名称 METHOD FOR RETRIEVING PROTEIN THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE DATA BASE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the sensitivity of detection and to attain high speed retrieval by converting three-dimensional(3D) information for the 3D structure of a protein into one-dimensional(1D) information called as peripheral distribution and mutually comparing the 3D information and the 1D information by dynamic programming alogorithm (DP). SOLUTION: A protein 3D structure data base retrieving system is initialized, inquiry structure 15 inputted and then a data base entry file name list is inputted. Whether all entry files have been read out or not is checked, and when the checked result is NO, coordinate data are inputted from an entry file registered in the file name list. Then a distance map is generated, peripheral distribution is generated and then similarity between the peripheral distribution of the inquiry information and that of data base entry, based on the DP, is calculated. A retrieved result list is sorted, based on the similarity, the processing is repeated antil the end of reading of all entry files and then a retrieved result list is outputted.
