JOINING APPARATUS FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR SETTING UP THE STARTING POINT

PURPOSE:A joining apparatus for a liquid crystal display and a method for setting up the starting point are provided to automatically set up the starting point of each operating component in an unexpected accident. CONSTITUTION:A controller drives a driving unit lifting an upper stage to move the upper stage upward, so that the upper stage is transferred to a part where a contact unit(200) of a starting point set element is placed. If a contact protrusion(320) formed on a side of the upper stage contacts with the contact unit formed at an upper surface of a chamber unit, a load cell(310) installed at the driving unit receives a feedback signal by a load transmitted in an opposite direction to the operation direction of the upper stage for grasping the current position with stopping the movement of the upper stage. The grasped current position is set up as the starting point of the upper stage.
