SUBSTANCE: method for controlling cryptographic keys when first and second computer units are intercommunicating involves authentication between first and second computer units; during this procedure authentication reports are exchanged to ensure authenticity of both computer units, whereupon protection strategy is coordinated between first and second computer units and during coordination of this strategy of protection use is made of at least one of mentioned authentication reports.
