FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring systolic level of arterial blood pressure in arm artery. Ophthalmic tonus is reduced by compressing eye with tonograph gage. Tonosphygmography is carried out with synchronously recording ophthalmic tonus and eye pulse values. Intraocular pressure is considered to be tolerant if OBCI exceeds threshold the value of which is determined as one depending on arterial blood pressure in arm artery.
