摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect a foreign matter stuck on an optical system unit by providing a correction data storage means for storing data concerning the dispersion of photodetecting sensitivity for each photodetector. SOLUTION: Inside an image sensor 1, a photoelectric converting part 2 is arranged as a CCD imaging device. The photoelectric converting part 2 is connected with a sensitivity correcting part 4 and a sensitivity correction data storage circuit 5 through a data bus 3, and the sensitivity correction data storage circuit 5 is connected with the sensitivity correcting part 4 through a data bus 6. The sensitivity correction data storage circuit 5 is composed of an arithmetic part for calculating an A/D conversion or correction coefficient and a memory part for storing the correction coefficient. The sensitivity correcting part 4 is connected with a foreign matter detecting part 11 outside the image sensor 1 through a data bus 10. Therefore, when any foreign matter is stuck on the optical system unit, the reduction of a signal level caused by the foreign matter can be surely detected, and the sticking of the foreign matter can be exactly detected.
