FIELD: plastic metal working, namely processes for making hemispherical parts of metallic sheets. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing preliminarily bent blank onto supporting ring in such a way that inner cylindrical surface of blank is turned to cylindrical surface of punch and spherical portion of punch is arranged over preliminarily bent blank in order to provide motion of punch from formed portion of blank into opening of supporting ring. In description of invention there are formulae for calculating geometry parameters of blank and pressure value of elastic die depending upon drawing factor, percentage thickness of blank and ultimate strength of formed material. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities at making parts of low ductile metals and of thin-wall blanks, constant pressure value of elastic die at squeezing blanks to hemispheres, increased factor of material usage at making hemispheres. 6 dwg |
