FIELD: wood treatment equipment, particularly vacuum wood drying equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises additional drying chamber connected in parallel to receiver and transfer chamber for moisture drainage. Inner volume of receiver is equal to unconfined volume of drying chamber filled with lumber. To provide necessary rate of vacuum pulses during wood treatment diameter of pipeline connecting drying chamber with receiver is calculated by formula presented by authors. EFFECT: high performance and quick wood drying process by means of tangential connection of pipeline to receiver, providing optimal relationship between volumes of receiver and drying chambers and usage of transfer chamber. 3 cl, 1 dwg _ |
