PURPOSE: A sobriety checking device of a vehicle is provided to prevent accidents, damage and injury from drunk driving by measuring the alcohol level in blood of a driver easily and conveniently with mounting the device in a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION: A blood alcohol level measuring device is composed of a receiving groove formed in the side of a steering wheel; an insertion hole having a fitting sill in the inner periphery of the receiving groove; a receiving part inserted to the insertion hole to contain a drawing member; the drawing member installed in the receiving part; a measuring unit formed in the end of the drawing member to detect alcohol concentration in blood; an air injection port(34) formed in the upper part of the measuring unit to flow air in; a filter net(35) attached to the outside of the air injection port; and a vent hole(36) discharging air from the filter net and the air injection port through the alcohol concentration detecting sensor out of the lower part of the measuring unit.
