<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumables management system for executing the automatic ordering and budget management of consumables. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of detecting that residual consumables are close to 'END', a printer 10 transmits the residue detection result to a terminal 20 for a manager. When the terminal 20 for the manager receives that the residual consumables are close to 'END' from the printer 10, the manager supplies the consumables in the printer 10. At the time of detecting that the consumables are supplied, the printer 10 transmits the supply detection result to a server center 30. At the time of receiving the supply notice of the consumables, the service center 30 updates the inventory numerics of the consumables. When the inventory numerics of the consumables is less than a preliminarily set order threshold, the service center 30 issues the order request of the consumables to the terminal 20 for the manager. The terminal 20 for the manager orders the consumables to the server center 30.
