<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery with excellent high- efficiency discharge characteristics and output characteristics by augmenting output density of the battery. <P>SOLUTION: With the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using a positive electrode provided with a complex agent including lithium manganate, a negative electrode equipped with a complex agent a carbon material capable of storing and discharging lithium as an active material on both sides of the collector, and a nonaqueous electrolyte dissolving support salt in a nonaqueous solvent, a specific surface area of the lithium manganate is 0.6 to 1.5 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a coated weight of a positive electrode laminated wood at one side face of the collector is 12 to 26 mg/cm<SP>2</SP>, a density of a positive electrode laminated wood is 2 g/cm<SP>3</SP>, and a specific surface area of the positive electrode complex agent is 0.5 to 2 m<SP>2</SP>/g. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
