<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image having a pattern similar to an image of a model, and having a size larger than that of the image of the model, using the image serving as the model, and to restrain a defect of a pattern from being generated in the formed image. <P>SOLUTION: The mode image having the pattern serving as the model is input (S2), a block image of one portion the input image is extracted from the input image (S3), the extracted block image is rotated by a prescribed angle or inverted (S4), and is bonded within of a set preparation image (S5).
